Is sleep essential?

Can sleep be avoided? Do you shorten sleep?

Many months of sleep is necessary before every birth. During this sleep, the organism grows from a single cell to a complete body, gaining the strength it needs for life after birth. Even after birth, this sleep pattern does not change immediately. Therefore, babies should be trained to sleep at night and stay awake during the day. Even when life ends, it returns to a long sleep. Our life in this world is a short time between two deep sleeps.

How much sleep you should get each day is a matter of much debate. Brain and body will be tired without being able to push out the impurities caused by working while awake. Those who practice frequent short breaks can avoid this type of fatigue. But complete waste disposal is possible only during sleep. A night of sleep deprivation can lead to lack of energy the next day because the body is unable to flush out the toxic waste that has accumulated in the brain and body. Good sleep is indispensable for the proper functioning of the brain and body.

How long should you sleep? The Japanese recommend 8 hours of sleep. On an average, one should sleep for 6 to 8 hours. Sick people and babies should sleep longer. Only then can proper waste disposal be possible from the brain. It doesn’t take long for those who intentionally sleep deprived to become ill. There should be total darkness in the room while sleeping. Going to bed at the same early time daily helps to avoid alarm clocks and helps you sleep better.

Sleeping early at night and waking up early in the morning is always preferable. Waking up early in the morning to study is more beneficial than staying up late at night. Getting into the habit of sleeping early, especially the day before exams, will increase your memory and help you write well in the exam.

Remember, proper rest and sleep are essential for quality intelligence.
